Skills required for Beauty Therapist

With particular focus on facials and skin care routines, we require someone that knows and understands various skin treatments according to tailor-made regimes, such as peels, facials, and skin rejuvenation treatments but also manicures and pedicures. Strict implementation of sterilizing procedures after every use of the beauty tools and equipment. Understanding the client’s skin and hair type and advising them with a skincare and hair care regimen.


Job Description

Our Spa Therapists are the cornerstone of our Retreat, responsible alongside our supervisors, for upholding the utmost levels of quality and professionalism across all operational aspects.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all treatments provided meet the highest standards of execution, hygiene, and performance, in alignment with Akasha's wellness ethos.


What Will Be Your Main Responsibilities?

-Conducting massages, facial and body treatments (peels, wraps, etc.) following Akasha's protocols, in accordance with our diverse treatment offerings.

-Thai Language skill

-Adhering strictly to Akasha's wellness standards.

-Executing job tasks with meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and precision.

-Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues as an integral part of our team.

-Safeguarding the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data.

-Maintaining, inspecting, and ensuring the upkeep of all treatment materials, equipment, products, and cleanliness standards within treatment areas.

-Managing product inventory levels effectively and utilizing resources efficiently, adhering strictly to recommended usage guidelines.

-Participating in events and training sessions as required.

-Upholding a high standard of personal care and hygiene.

-Ensuring adequate supply storage in treatment cabins, including oils, products, consumables, and materials utilized during treatments.

-Consistently implementing established service protocols.

-Adhering to guidelines for the preparation, presentation, and cleanliness of treatment rooms.

-Addressing guest concerns or inquiries regarding treatments promptly and courteously.

-Gathering guest feedback on therapies and communicating findings to management.


What Should You Bring?

Training in Holistic Cosmetics and Wellness therapies, especially those using raw organic, natural ingredients.

Training in various different Massage Therapies

Ability to work in EU although full paperwork will be done by the company

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel spa.

Proficiency in English is essential.

References at least 2 from recent employers.

Knowledge of the latest wellness treatments and equipment.

Strong customer focus, meticulousness, and approachability.

Salary Conditions (Base Salary, Commission, Incentives)

Salary range of €800 to €1000 net per month depending on experience and level of skill.

All food & accommodation for the duration of your employment

Travel cost reimbursement to travel to Romania.

Commission incentive of 5% per session

A beautiful pleasant environment to work in with standard working hours.

40hrs per week with 2 days off in the week.

3 weeks paid holiday per year
